Meet the Team - Lynn Bochonek

Lynn started work with Nigel Ward & Co in July 1968 prior to its acquisition by RDC Solicitors. She works closely with Nigel Ward, a Consultant at RDC. Lynn also assists our Accounts Manager and keeps our Ilkley Office in order!

What do you do when you’re not hard at work at RDC Solicitors?

Family time is so important. My husband Stefan is also my best friend so time spent together is what I enjoy most.  We have three grandchildren aged 4½, almost 3 and 5 months – need I say more? Life is never dull!  Stefan and I are also season ticket holders at Headingley Rugby League – “Come on you Rhinos”!  I also enjoy cooking, baking and knitting.

What is your favourite film?

If I had to choose a favourite it would have to be Dirty Dancing

What type of music do you like?

I like all music but you can’t beat the Sixties!

What is your favourite Song?

Do You Wanna Dance? Cliff Richard  (If you had any doubts about my age, now you know!)

If you had to eat the same 3 meals every day for the rest of your life, what would they be?

I always start the day with a cooked breakfast, whether it be bacon and egg, a bacon butty or scrambled egg on toast. Lunch would be something light like a salad or omelette. Dinner would have to be a 10oz ribeye steak (very rare) with all the trimmings and a glass or two of merlot (it would be rude to eat steak without a glass of red!)

What TV shows do you enjoy the most?

Not really a TV fanatic but enjoy Sport and “Strictly” – and not forgetting Corrie!

What is the best holiday you have been on?

Had some lovely holidays but I think my favourite has to be Paris (for a special birthday)

Think Positive – it’s got me through a lot!
