At RDC Solicitors we are dedicated to raising awareness of the planning which can be done by people with dementia to ensure that if a time comes when that person is unable to deal with their own affairs, they have the necessary tools in place to assist their carers with dealing with matters on their behalf. We feel that this planning is essential to provide security and peace of mind to the person with dementia, their carer and family.
We provide advice in a straightforward and sensitive manner, so that the person with dementia and their carer feel relaxed and at ease. In order to achieve this we can attend people in their own homes, and at a time of day which suits them best.We understand that by its very nature, capacity for people suffering with dementia may fluctuate, and we therefore know that it may be necessary to attend that person on a number of occasions to discuss matters with them.
If you would like more information please do not hesitate to contact one of the Wills, Trust, Tax and Probate Team who will be happy to help.
