PM to bring forward the help to buy scheme by 3 months

In June we discussed the help to buy scheme and mentioned that there had been calls for the scheme not to be extended.  However. yesterday, Prime Minister David Cameron confirmed that he will bring forward the beleaguered scheme by 3 months, which will allow potential purchasers the opportunity to borrow up to 95% of the value by way of a legal mortgage.

Rejecting claims that the scheme will assist in causing a property bubble and inflated property prices, Mr Cameron stated that the main concern of Government was that of a generation lost as homeowners.
